L.A. Witt tells a good story. Her Characters are well-developed and her in-depth research makes the reader feel as though they are present in the city or town where the story is set. Combine these elements with excellent attention paid to technical elements, and you have a real page-turner. The Chiefs can still be a reigning contender year after year. Yet, it starts with adjustments to their philosophy. Whether it is the offensive attack, the offense's psyche, or building the roster with more impactful investments in premium roster spots, Kansas City has to change course enough somehow, someway.
